


ArmInfo. Armenia and Iran have signed a memorandum of understanding envisaging cooperation in the field of education for 2025-2029. The document was signed by the head of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Armenia (MOESCS), Zhanna Andreasyan, and Hossein Simaei Sarraf, the head of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology of Iran.
According to the press service of the MESCS, the memorandum envisages exchanging information on educational systems, establishing direct links between higher education institutions, encouraging mutual faculty visits, exchanging educational programs, etc. Both parties are confident that the memorandum will open up new opportunities for universities in both countries, as well as for students and other interested individuals. According to the source, during the meeting, Andreasyan and Sarraf discussed the potential for implementing joint educational and scientific programs, teacher and scientist exchanges and the mutual recognition of diplomas from Armenian and Iranian universities.
