Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to host leaders of Azerbaijan and Armenia in  Astana

ArmInfo. President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev awaits leaders of Azerbaijan and Armenia in Astana. Tokayev made this announcement  during his annual  address to the nation at a joint session of Parliament.

"Later this year, I will visit Russia and Uzbekistan. Visits to  Astana by the leaders of Azerbaijan, Armenia, and Turkmenistan are  also being prepared, along with planned meetings and negotiations  with  heads of several Asian and European countries. The  Kazakh-American dialogue is actively developing. We are also  developing multifaceted contacts with the European Union," Tokayev  said in his address to the nation "Kazakhstan in the Era of  Artificial Intelligence: Current Challenges and Their Solutions  through Digital Transformation." The leader of Kazakhstan added that  for the sake of lasting peace and universal progress, it is necessary  to seek compromises, "a bad peace is better than a good quarrel."  "Therefore, Kazakhstan welcomed the results of the Russian-US summit  in Alaska, as well as the signing of the declaration on peace between  Azerbaijan and Armenia in Washington under the mediation of President  Trump," Tokayev said.
