RA Prosecutor Gen meets with Swedish counterpart

ArmInfo. Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia Anna Vardapetyan met with Prosecutor General of the Kingdom of Sweden Katarina Johansson Velin during her working visit to the Republic of Singapore.

According to the press service of the supervisory authority, Anna  Vardapetyan thanked Katarina Velin for accepting the invitation to a  bilateral meeting within the framework of the IAPP conference,  outlined the priorities of cooperation and expressed commitment to  jointly counteracting the challenges of criminal justice.

During the meeting, in particular, the possibilities of developing  international legal cooperation between Armenia and Sweden in the  criminal law sphere, as well as prospects for deepening cooperation  within the framework of Eurojust were discussed.

Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia Anna Vardapetyan left  for the Republic of Singapore on a working visit to participate in  the 30th Annual Conference and General Assembly of the International  Association of Prosecutors (IAPP). Anna Vardapetyan was elected as a  candidate for membership in the Executive Committee of the  International Association of Prosecutors (IAPP) on April 8, 2025,  during the 59th session of the Executive Committee of the  International Association of Prosecutors held in Buenos Aires. The  election of a member of the Executive Committee will take place at  the upcoming meeting.
