


ArmInfo. The tenth session of the National Assembly of Armenia of the eighth convocation has started in Yerevan.
The parliament session began with the swearing-in of two deputies of the ruling Civil Contract faction - Esther Ayvazyan and Vanik Ohanyan. Ayvazyan was sworn in from the rostrum of the National Assembly, and Ohanyan was late and could not attend the beginning of the session. They will replace State Duma deputies Arsen Torosyan, who was appointed Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, and Aren Mkrtchyan, who was appointed Governor of Lori Province.
The agenda of the regular sessions includes 42 issues, 2 of which will be discussed in the second and final reading.
The issues discussed include the election of a member of the Public Services Regulation Commission, the election of a judge of the Criminal Chamber of the Court of Cassation, a package of bills on amendments to the Law on Road Safety and amendments to related laws, a package of bills on amendments to the Law on Automobile Transport and amendments to related laws, a bill on amendments to the Law on Language, a bill on amendments to the Law on Medical Care and Public Services, a package of bills on amendments to the Criminal Code and amendments to related laws, a bill on amendments to the Law on the State Border, and others.
