ArmInfo. Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated the All-Russian public organization "Union of Armenians of Russia" (UAR) on its 25th anniversary.
The congratulations, published on the website of the President of the Russian Federation, noted that over the past years, UAR has united Armenian communities throughout our country, has significantly strengthened its authority through multifaceted, in-demand activities, and fruitful dialogue with government bodies.
"It is gratifying that you are carrying out consistent work aimed at harmonizing interethnic relations and integrating the Armenian diaspora into Russian society.
It is largely due to the efforts of your organization that meaningful cultural, educational, and enlightening projects are being implemented, and important initiatives in the field of youth policy and patriotic education of the younger generation are being brought to life. And of course, I would like to especially note the significant support that the Union of Armenians of Russia provides to participants and veterans of the special military operation, their families and loved ones.
I am confident that the current ceremonial events will be held at a decent level and will give a start to new promising ideas and plans," the Russian president's message says.
