ArmInfo. The plane of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia flew abroad through the airspace of Azerbaijan on August 30 of this year and returned to Armenia on the night of September 6. This was reported on her Facebook page by the Speaker of the Prime Minister of Armenia Nazeli Baghdasaryan.
According to her, after reaching peace agreements in Washington on August 8 of this year, the relevant structures of Armenia asked Azerbaijan to provide an air corridor for the plane of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia and received a positive response.
"We consider this fact as a practical step towards unblocking communications in the region, promoting the peace agenda and creating an atmosphere of mutual trust," the Speaker of the Prime Minister emphasized.
At the same time, Baghdasaryan recalled that Azerbaijani planes have been using the airspace of Armenia for a long time to ensure communication between Azerbaijan and Nakhichevan
