Alen Simonyan raises issue of Armenian prisoners to his Kyrgyz  counterpart 

ArmInfo.  Speaker of the Armenian Parliament Alen Simonyan, who is on an official visit to Bishkek, has touched upon the issue of prisoners and illegally  detained persons in Azerbaijan during a meeting with the Speaker of  the Kyrgyz Republic (Zhogorku Kenesh,) Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu. As  reported by the press service of the Armenian Parliament, Simonyan  also emphasized the issue of  missing persons.

According to the source,  the Speaker of the Armenian Parliament  raised this issue during the discussion of the Armenian-Azerbaijani  peace process. In this regard, Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu noted that  Kyrgyzstan welcomes the declaration adopted in Washington and the  initialing of the peace agreement, adding that they will have a great  impact in terms of establishing lasting peace in the region.  The  discussions also focused on the development of inter-parliamentary  relations and a  wide range of issues of mutual interest.
