


ArmInfo.The Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia has summed up the results of criminal proceedings on corruption crimes investigated in the first half of 2025.
During the reporting period, the Investigative Committee considered 508 criminal cases related to corruption (949 in 2024), with 358 carried over from 2024 (647 in 2023).
Out of the 508 criminal cases, 29 were sent to court with charges against 72 persons (-32 criminal cases against 60 persons in 2024), 71 cases were terminated (132 in 2024), with 41 on rehabilitating grounds (104 in 2024), and 30 on non-rehabilitating grounds (28 in 2024). Procedural and evidentiary actions were completed in 30 cases (36i n 2024), sent to another body - 121 (112 in 2024), combined into one proceeding - 29 (37 in 2024) and transferred to the second half of 2025 - 228 (600 in 2024-).The property damage in corruption cases amounted to 8 billion 879 million 329 thousand drams, with 2 billion 213 million 514 thousand drams, or 24.9%, collected during pre-trial proceedings. Additionally, property worth 968 million drams was seized (the property damage amounted to 4 billion 608 million 759 thousand drams, with 685 million 958 thousand drams collected in 2024).
