
ArmInfo. In Beijing, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan met with Chinese Vice President China Han Zheng.
As reported by the PM's Office, Han Zheng welcomed Prime Minister Pashinyan's visit to China and his participation in the SCO summit and the parade in Beijing. He noted that the productive meeting between the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia and President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping resulted in the establishment of a strategic partnership between the countries, which will contribute to the development and expansion of cooperation in all areas. In his speech, Han Zheng noted that China attaches great importance to establishing a strategic partnership with Armenia, and in this regard, the Prime Minister's visit is of key importance. Prime Minister Pashinyan expressed gratitude for the invitation and warm welcome, emphasizing that his working visit to China is of great importance for Armenia. He noted that as a result of this visit, Armenia- China relations have been elevated to the level of strategic partnership, creating new opportunities for further deepening and expansion of ties.
Pashinyan also noted that in recent years, cooperation has been developing in the political, economic and cultural spheres, and ties between the peoples are being strengthened. According to the Prime Minister, the peoples of both countries have great sympathy for each other, and this is a solid basis for advancing comprehensive cooperation.
The interlocutors exchanged views on several matters of international importance and expressed a conviction that in the near future, Armenian-Chinese cooperation will develop both at the bilateral level and on multilateral platforms.
