Armenian Ombudsperson, ICRC Yerevan delegation head discuss rights of  prisoners and missing persons

ArmInfo.  Armenian Ombudsperson Anahit Manasyan held  a meeting with Daphne Marais, the head of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) delegation in Armenia, to discuss the rights of prisoners, missing persons and their families.

As reported by the press service of the Human Rights Defender, they  also talked about joint programs in international humanitarian law.  Manasyan highly appreciated the cooperation established between the  ICRC and the Institute of the Human Rights Defender in Armenia,  emphasizing the significance of the organization's work  and its  consistency. In turn, Daphne Marais reaffirmed the ICRC's commitment  to maintaining cooperation with the Armenian side.
