Erdogan says  he  saw "hope in Aliyev`s eyes" for peace with Armenia

ArmInfo.  Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan believes that Azerbaijan and Armenia "have reached the end point" in the peace process. According to him, the normalization of relations between Baku and Yerevan "will have a  positive impact" on the region. "I believe that the South Caucasus,  by the grace of God, will find the long-awaited peace. During my  meeting with Mr. Ilham Aliyev, I saw this hope in his eyes. 

The recent  agreement signed in the White House has certainly  accelerated the process of normalizing relations between Armenia and  Azerbaijan. Azerbaijan and Armenia have largely overcome the  obstacles on the path to peace and have reached the end point," the  Turkish leader told reporters on the plane upon his return from  China, where he participated in the  Shanghai Cooperation  Organization (SCO) Summit, RIA Novosti reports. According to him, he  had "detailed talks" with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and then  with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on the sidelines of the  summit in China.
