ArmInfo. Armenian Defense Minister Suren Papikyan received Iranian Ambassador to Armenia Mehdi Sobhani in connection with the conclusion of his diplomatic mission in the Republic.
As reported by the press service of the Armenian Defense Ministry, Papikyan highly appreciated the Ambassador's contribution to strengthening the RA-IRI relations and expressed gratitude for joint effective cooperation and significant achievements as a result.
During the meeting, issues related to the bilateral agenda, as well as the latest developments in regional and international security were discussed. In the conclusion of the meeting, Papikyan awarded the Ambassador with a departmental medal for effective cooperation.
