ArmInfo. Raising the issue on international platforms is not only proof of the ongoing struggle, but also evidence that Artsakh continues to exist as an idea, as a right, and in the person of its residents, as stated by Chairman of the Artsakh Parliament Ashot Danielyan during the international conference "Artsakh: Unresolved Conflict, Right of Return" in Yerevan, organized by the Supreme Body of the ARF "Dashnaktsutyun".
He noted that September 2 is the NKR Independence Day, emphasizing that it is not just a date, but a symbol of the Armenian people's aspiration for freedom, the preservation of independence and the creation of statehood. "For the second year in a row, we are celebrating this day far from our Motherland. However, despite this, the Artsakh issue has not disappeared, no matter how hard the leaders of the dictatorial neighboring states try to prove it. After all, the formation of the Republic of Artsakh as a state was the result of the efforts of all Armenians - through blood and daily work. Artsakh lives, Artsakh must live, because Artsakh will be returned," Danielyan said.
He pointed out that the right of the Artsakh people to self-determination remains an inviolable value in international public law.
In this regard, the politician noted that they will continue their cooperation with international legal organizations, political forces and experts to advocate for the Artsakh issue to form public opinion and a platform for the restoration of the legitimate rights of the Artsakh people. "Our presence on international platforms is not only evidence of our struggle, but also evidence that Artsakh exists as an idea, as a right, and in the person of its residents. In this context, the work carried out by the ARF "Hay Dat" Central Office, other diaspora organizations, and individuals and figures is especially important. For many years, they have been our voice in international courts, on information platforms, and in public and political circles. Thanks to their efforts, the Artsakh issue has not disappeared, but continues to sound as a demand for justice," the Chairman of the Artsakh Parliament noted. He also reminded that another important demand that should be voiced on these platforms is the return of all Armenian prisoners of war and civilians from Azerbaijani prisons. In conclusion, Danielyan thanked the international representatives present at the conference, noting that their participation demonstrates that this is not only the struggle of the Armenian people, but the whole mankind.
