Prime Minister: I urge Ktrich Nersisyan to voluntarily leave  Catholicos`s residence 

ArmInfo. My position will not change under any circumstances - Ktrich Nersisyan (Catholicos of All Armenians - Karekin B) must leave the residence of the Catholicos.  Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan told journalists about this during a briefing.

He noted that he has plans, but they fall outside  the usual  boundaries of most. This process, as Pashinyan noted, should take  place through the efforts of the followers of the Armenian Apostolic  Church (AAC), of which he considers himself a part.

"I said that I would lead this process, and soon you will witness its  first manifestations," Pashinyan said.  Recalling the creation of the  initiative group, he said that he meets with numerous citizens who  have expressed a desire to join this group. "I meet with them to make  sure to what extent they meet the criteria and requirements that I  have set," he said.

The Prime Minister noted that his task is not to replace Ktrich  Nersisyan with someone similar, but rather to focus on the "spiritual  repair" of not only the Armenian Apostolic Church, but also the  entire public.  "The AAC is the epicenter of our moral values, and if  this epicenter is polluted, then talking about the existence of a  value-oriented public agenda is, at the very least, frivolous. And  this process must begin with the Mother See of Etchmiadzin," he said.

The Prime Minister denied rumors that the authorities are preparing  violent methods to achieve this goal.  He stated  that such  approaches have never been used during his political activities, and  particularly not in the Church issue. "I urge him to make this  decision voluntarily. And now is a very opportune moment for this. My  agenda is full of international visits, but I will find time for this  important process. And it is important that he does not miss this  opportunity and makes the decision that he must make and cannot fail  to make," the Prime Minister emphasized.
