37 schools  currently being reconstructed in Armavir region

ArmInfo.  Currently, 37 schools in the Armavir region are undergoing reconstruction, renovation and construction, with 4 of them already  commissioned. Araksiya Svajyan, Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Armenia, stated this during a meeting with the  participation of directors of general education, preschool and  extracurricular educational institutions in the Armavir region.

She noted that 87 schools in the region are already equipped with  STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) laboratory  equipment. In this regard, the Deputy Minister called for their  targeted use to improve the quality of teaching in these disciplines.  Touching upon the voluntary certification process of teachers, the  Deputy Minister reported that 654 teachers have already been  certified in the Armavir region, and 42 have received different  qualification categories. She also reminded that the new academic  year has been declared the "Year of Safe and Reliable Educational  Environment." The goal of the initiative is to create a healthy,  violence-free and protected educational environment in schools. In  this context, Svajyan reported that several programs and events are  planned.
