AAC Tavush Diocese responds to ruling faction deputy`s statement 

ArmInfo. The Tavush Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church has responded to a statement made by  Arpi Davoyan, a member of parliament from the ruling "Civil Contract" faction.

Earlier, the deputy posted a video from the monastery complex,  showing books and church utensils laid out on the ground. Referring  to this to a "closet", the deputy emphasized that the footage was  recorded in the Haghartsin monastery complex. The parliamentarian  captioned her video with the words "oven and fair".

However, the diocese clarified that the video was actually filmed at  the Goshavank monastery complex.  The spiritual pastor of Goshavank,  Father Tadevos Tadevosyan, noted that in this case it is not about a  stove and a fair, but about inventoring spiritual literature and  church utensils. Recently, a robbery has taken place in the monastery  complex and the video has simply captured  the inspection of the  abandoned property.
