ArmInfo.  An earthquake in southern Russia was also felt in Armenia.

According to the report from the RA Seismic Protection Territorial  Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, a 5.5 magnitude  earthquake  was recorded in Dagestan on August 27 at 00:33 local  time. The epicenter was located 75 km southeast of the city of  Makhachkala, with tremors reaching 7-8 points.

An earthquake with a magnitude of 2-3 points was felt in the cities  of Ijevan, Noyemberyan and other populated areas of the Tavush  region.
