Armenian Defense Ministry confirms: serviceman  wounded in  combat  position

ArmInfo. The Armenian Defense Ministry has confirmed  that a serviceman was wounded in a combat position, noting that he had undergone surgery and his life was not in danger.

"In response to inquiries about "a serviceman hospitalized with a  gunshot wound," we inform you that the serviceman underwent emergency  surgery and was transferred to the Central Clinical Military  Hospital.  Currently, the serviceman is under the supervision of  hospital doctors, and his life is not in danger,"  press secretary of  the Armenian Defense Ministry Aram Torosyan wrote on his Facebook  page.

Earlier, Armenian media reported that shots were fired at one of the  Armenian military bases in the Gegharkunik region, and one serviceman  was hospitalized.
