


ArmInfo. The criminal case against former Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Hovik Abrahamyan has been reassigned to Judge Aram Grigoryan of the Anti- Corruption Court, as reported on the Datalex judicial information system portal.
Recall that on August 14, at the first court hearing on this case, Judge of the Anti-Corruption Court Vahe Dolmazyan recused himself from the case, citing his prior involvement as a prosecutor overseeing this case.
Recall that Speaker of the National Assembly and former Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan was charged in April 2023 and detained on June 13 on charges of money laundering, abuse of office, and participation in illegal business. The court initially place him under house arrest as a preventive measure, which was later changed to administrative supervision in July.
