


ArmInfo. Damage caused to the state in the amount of 249 million drams has been restored. This was reported by the Investigative Committee of Armenia.
According to the report, the Main Department for Investigation of Economic Crimes and Smuggling of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia is conducting a preliminary investigation of a criminal case initiated on the fact of tax evasion on an especially large scale by an organization engaged in credit activities. The organization entered distorted data in documents that were the basis for taxation.
"As a result of large-scale evidentiary and other procedural actions, as well as operational and investigative measures carried out within the framework of the preliminary investigation of the criminal case, damage caused to the state in the amount of 249 million drams has been restored. The preliminary investigation of the criminal case is ongoing," the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia said in a statement.
