


ArmInfo. On September 9, the Vazgen Sargsyan Republican Stadium will host the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying match between Armenia and Ireland. This was reported by the Football Federation of Armenia.
According to the source, tickets for the match are available from today on the website tickets.ffa.am. Tickets for this and all subsequent matches of the Armenian national team will be sold only online; there are no plans to sell physical tickets. One person can purchase no more than 2 tickets for the Armenia- Ireland match. After the purchase, the user will see the purchased tickets in their personal account on the website tickets.ffa.am, however, the QR codes on the tickets will only be activated on the day of the match.
"We also inform you that in order to purchase a ticket, you must undergo passport identification on the website tickets.ffa.am. After entering the necessary data for identification, you must wait for confirmation, which is carried out daily from 10:00 to 20:00 for 30 minutes. For safety reasons and to avoid crowding, we ask you to arrive at the stadium at least 2 hours before the start of the game," the FFA statement said.
Recall that the Armenian team ended up in qualifying group F along with the national teams of Portugal, Ireland and Hungary. The winner of the tournament will receive the right to enter the final part of the World Cup, which in 2026 will be held in three countries - the USA, Canada and Mexico.
