RA deputy minister of interior proposes cooperation in drug  trafficking control to CIS counterparts 

ArmInfo. On August 12, a regular meeting of the Council of Ministers of Internal Affairs of the CIS member states was held in St. Petersburg, in which a delegation headed by the Chief of Police of the Ministry of Internal  Affairs of the Republic of Armenia - Deputy Minister of Internal  Affairs Aram Ghazaryan took part. As the source notes, the agenda of the meeting included the draft  Concept for the Development of Information Interaction between the  Ministries of Internal Affairs of the CIS Member States in the Fight  against Crimes Committed with the Use of Information Technologies, as  well as cooperation in the fight against illegal migration,  increasing the effectiveness of interaction in the field of  forensics, amending the regulations of competent authorities for  conducting interstate operational-search activities and other issues.

Aram Kazaryan, as part of the discussion of priority issues of  interaction between the ministries of internal affairs of the CIS  member states and the implementation of interstate programs in the  field of combating crime, touched upon issues of interaction in the  field of combating illegal drug trafficking and proposed to consider  the development of mechanisms for industry interaction, both with the  Telegram> platform and with the main providers of cryptocurrency  services. The subject of discussion was problematic issues related to  the fight against crimes committed using information technologies. It  was proposed to deepen cooperation in this area as well, as well as  to intensify the exchange of information on methods and forms of  combating the legalization (laundering) of property and proceeds from  crime.

Relevant decisions were made on 12 agenda items. During the visit,  the Chief of Police of the RA Ministry of Internal Affairs - Deputy  Minister of Internal Affairs Aram Kazaryan, together with other  participants, honored the memory of those killed during the Great  Patriotic War and the siege of Leningrad, laying a wreath at the  Piskarevsky Memorial Complex on behalf of the RA Ministry of Internal  Affairs.
