Investigator filed a clearly unfounded petition: Lawyer 

ArmInfo. The investigator filed a clearly unfounded petition that did not overcome the minimum threshold of validity, as reported to journalists by one of the lawyers of the philanthropist, businessman Samvel Karapetyan, Aram  Vardevanyan, on August 14 in the courtyard of the Anti-Corruption  Court, where the investigator's petition to extend Karapetyan's  arrest is being considered.

<This petition is titled as <About Samvel Karapetyan>, but it has  nothing to do with Samvel Karapetyan.  Conventionally, it could have  been any of us>,  the lawyer said.  According to him, back on June  18, when the measure of restraint in the form of arrest was chosen  for Samvel Karapetyan, it was obvious that the case, in the legal  sense, was shameful. <Now an attempt is being made to continue this  legal disgrace,> Vardevanyan said.
