ArmInfo. The family of the late pregnant Sona Mnatsakanyan, who died after being struck by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's motorcade, is demanding 10 million drams in compensation from Aram Navasardyan (the driver of the car).
During today's court hearing, Sona Mnatsakanyan's father filed a motion for 10 million drams in compensation to cover the expenses of Sona's burial and funeral. However, the court was unable to consider the motion, and the hearing was postponed. Today, the court was supposed to pass a verdict on Aram Navasardyan.
Navasardyan refused to answer journalists' questions today. He only stated that he does not accept the charges brought against him and does not consider himself guilty. "I have nothing to say, stop. I have no desire to speak," Navasardyan said, also refusing to comment on the statement by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan that the motorcade was escorting the head of the government, not Pashinyan himself.
