ArmInfo. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan apologized and conveyed his condolences. However, I find it unappropriate for him to compare the prime minister's motorcade to an ordinary bus, as stated by the legal successor, the father of the late Sona Mnatsakanyan, who died as a result of being struck by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's motorcade, in a conversation with journalists on August 13.
According to Mnatsakan Mnatsakanyan, the lawyer of the accused, police major Aram Navasardyan (the driver of the car), resorts to various tricks to defend the defendant, and has repeatedly bypassed moral norms. In particular, Navasardyan's lawyer Ruben Baloyan recently stated that Sona Mnatsakanyan, perhaps, because of her political views, deliberately did not give in and intentionally backed away.
<How could you think that a woman in her seventh month of pregnancy could take such a political action? Especially considering she had just returned to Armenia after working abroad. The political thing was that my daughter, who had faith in changes in Armenia, left a country like Denmark and returned to the RA, where she established a subsidiary company>, he said.
Touching upon the trial, Sona Mnatsakanyan's legal successor complained about the inappropriate delay in the process. He believes that this delay is intentional, aimed at gaining time and allowing the statute of limitations on the case to expire.
