Mother Armenia movement strongly condemns provocations against  Russian military base in Gyumri

ArmInfo.  The Mother Armenia movement strongly condemns the provocative actions against the Russian military base in Gyumri. This is stated in the movement's  statement.

"The so-called pro-Westerners announced the preparation of an action  against the Russian 102nd military base located in Gyumri. Under any  other government, the existence of such anti-Armenian forces and the  Turkish "fifth column" in our political arena would have been  impossible. However, under the current government, for obvious  reasons, all this is not only tolerated, but actually encouraged.  Having captured Artsakh, making the territory of Syunik disputed and  receiving the "Zangezur corridor", our opponents are moving on to the  next point - the process of withdrawing the 102nd military base,  after which Armenia's complete capitulation to Turkey and Azerbaijan  will be just a matter of technique," the statement says.

It emphasizes that "Mother Armenia" strongly condemns the provocative  actions against the Russian military base, which is an important  component of ensuring the security of the Republic of Armenia. "It  would be tragic if our society allowed such a step against itself.  They are trying to repeat what happened 110 years ago with people who  witnessed the genocide. The Gyumri Municipality and the relevant law  enforcement agencies must, in accordance with the procedure  established by law, stop these hostile actions against the Russian  military base and, ultimately, the interests of the Republic of  Armenia. "Mother Armenia" will defend the interests of the Republic  of Armenia with all its might," the statement says.
