AMD 76mln damage to public compensated 

ArmInfo. The Main Department for Investigation of Economic Crimes and Smuggling of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia is conducting a  preliminary investigation into a criminal case initiated against a  public catering establishment for falsifying tax reports and failing  to pay taxes in an especially large amount to the state budget for  2022-2024.

According to the press service of the department, as a result of  large-scale procedural and evidentiary actions carried out during the  preliminary investigation of the criminal case, damage caused to the  state in the amount of 75 million 845 thousand 829 drams was  compensated.

The preliminary investigation of the criminal case is ongoing.
