Arrested clergyman`s defense l;awyer on `edited` audios 

ArmInfo. Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan's lawyer Hovhannes Khudoyan shared on social media fragments of his client's conversations that were not published by  the Investigative Committee.

"Since the preliminary investigation into the "Sacred Struggle" case  has been completed, I will tell you the honest truth.

Let's see how law enforcement agencies have jointly deceived our  society," he wrote.

Thus, according to the lawyer, in the episode with the mention of  "execution" (an audio recording is attached), the investigator  "improvised". In particular, he added words to the text of the  Investigative Committee that are not in the original recording, and  the real explanations were deliberately omitted. "This can be heard  in the audio recording, but the investigator does not quote the words  "shoot why?" in the text version. After this phrase, the recording  ends, omitting the answer to the question "why," Khudoyan writes.

In another case, the recording is cut off, omitting the context, and  then continues with a remark that has no relation to the recording of  that day.

Touching on the Prosecutor General's petition against the deputy of  the opposition faction "Hayastan" Artur Sargsyan, the lawyer points  out that the formation of groups is discussed, the context is  created, then the thought is cut off with a colon, as if only the  relevant parts are presented.

The thought "I will not repeat this, a second, third time" is  followed without a colon "It is difficult to change people's  consciousness". It seems that this is the course of the dialogue, but  we see that a significant part is omitted, and both parts are also  not related in content.

The prosecutor already sees the answer to the reason hidden by the  investigator: he committed treason", - Khudoyan notes.

The material deciphered by the National Security Service (two  photographs are attached), on the basis of which, among other things,  the case was opened, is presented as a full-fledged dialogue. Here,  too, after the thought <I will not repeat this for the second, third  time> without a colon, it should be <it is difficult to change  people's consciousness>. Meanwhile, we see that this is a cut part>,  - the lawyer writes that in this case, phrases that refer to another  conversation were also added.

Hovhannes Khudoyan suggests listening to the recording in full and  deciding for yourself <what is being discussed>.

"This is just one episode of the propaganda tricks of the fabricated  case," he summarizes.

Recall that on June 25, after large-scale searches, Archbishop Bagrat  Galstanyan was arrested. Igor Sargsyan, Hrayr Hakobyan, David  Galstyan, Movses Sharbatyan, Arsen Kazaryan, Ara Rostomyan, Tigran  Galstyan, Migran Makhsudyan, Karo Okumushyan, Aghvan Arshakyan, Armen  Aleksanyan, Lidiya Mantashyan, Tigran Topalyan, Hayk Shahnazaryan,  Armen Israelyan and Vahagn Chakhalyan were detained along with him.  According to the Investigative Committee, the detainees are suspected  of preparing an armed seizure of power, organizing terrorist attacks  and mass riots.
