Mirzoyan talked with Araghchi

ArmInfo.Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan held a phone conversation with Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi, as reported by the RA MFA.

During the conversation, Mirzoyan briefed the results of the meetings  held in Washington DC on August 8, 2025, including the agreements  reached on the decentralization and the development of regional  communications. Mirzoyan emphasized that, as has been repeatedly  stated by the Republic of Armenia, the Washington Declaration  reflects that the operation of infrastructures, including that to be  built in Armenia with American partnership, will be carried out  within the framework of the country's territorial integrity,  sovereignty and jurisdiction. Mirzoyan thanked Seyed Abbas Araghchi  for his principled reference to the Washington agreements. The  interlocutors exchanged views on preparation for the upcoming  high-level consultations and contacts between Armenia and Iran.
