Lawyer: Court of Appeal rules that searches in  Karapetyans` apartments  are illegal

ArmInfo. By decision of the Criminal Court of Appeal, searches in the apartments of businessman Samvel Karapetyan's son - Narek Karapetyan and his daughter-in-law Lilit Karapetyan are recognized as illegal. Armen Feroyan, lawyer for the Tashir Group of Companies, noted in a post  on his Facebook page.

According to the lawyer, complaints against the decisions made by judges of the  first instance court David Arghamanyan and Masis Melkonyan to issue permits for searches in the apartments on August 8, 2025, were satisfied, and the acts made by these judges were canceled. "Judge of the Criminal Court of Appeal of Armenia Vazgen Rshtuni and Armen Bektashyan stated that the rights of Narek and Lilit Karapetyan were violated by these decisions. Thus, the Court of Appeal confirmed that the searches conducted in their apartments were illegal. We urge the relevant authorities to refrain from such actions in the future," the lawyer wrote.
