ArmInfo. This year, the tourist and music festival Festivar will start on August 23 in Artashat. As ArmInfo was informed by the press service of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports (MOESCS) of Armenia, now in its third year, aims to boost domestic tourism and cultural life.
The festival's opening day will feature a performance by singer Saro Tovmasyan with the Karen Sevak Band, along with a local goods sale and exhibition. Additionally, there will be organized transfers to the sights of the region for festival participants. The next event within the festival will take place on September 13 in Hrazdan, featuring a concert by Armenian singer Harut Pambukchyan and the Karen Sevak Band. On September 21, Armenia's Independence Day, various artists, whose names will be announced soon, will perform in Armavir's central square with the State Symphony Orchestra of Armenia.
The Ministry of Education and Science of Armenia also reported that the government will allocate more than 211 million drams for the successful organization of the festival. According to the source, the festival is organized by the Public Television Company of Armenia (PTA) with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of Armenia.
