As RA Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure David Khudatyan noted in his speech, on May 8, 2025, the RA Anti-Corruption Court satisfied the claim of the Prosecutor General's Office to invalidate the sale and purchase agreement concluded on April 13, 2005 between the Mayor of Yerevan and Karen Iskandaryan. Based on the decision of June 20, 2025, the ownership right of the Republic of Armenia to a land plot of 1.7730 hectares adjacent to the TV tower on G. Hovsepyan Street in Yerevan was registered. At the same time, it was proposed to consider the issue of transferring the real estate to the State Property Management Committee.
The new decision of the executive authority proposes to transfer a land plot of area to the RA Ministry of Environment and provide it for free use to the state non-profit organization "Hayantar".
In this regard, the RA Prosecutor General Anna Vardapetyan noted that we are talking about an area of 1.7 hectares. The cadastral value of this territory is $ 2, 686 million.
