In 2025, Aparan as the youth capital of Armenia, along with 96 settlements of the republic and the capital Yerevan, will host a variety of cultural, educational, interactive and other events on August 12, in celebration of International Youth Day. As ArmInfo was informed by the press service of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports (MOESCS) of Armenia, the program of events was compiled based on online survey conducted prior to Youth Day. It helped to identify the preferences and interests of the participants, shaping the activities planned for the day.
Specifically, the program includes sports and entertainment competitions, a youth conference with thematic panel discussions, motivational speeches, information stands, open-air quizzes, quest games, a drawing competition, and the awarding of prizes for innovative ideas. The day will end with a concert by singer Gor Sujyan at the city square of Aparan. "As part of the youth days, various film screenings, theater performances, and thematic discussions are also planned," the department added.
