ArmInfo. Having high expectations for the actions of a government that has shown itself to be anti-national is unrealistic. This viewpoint was expressed by Armen Ashotyan, Deputy Chairman of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), during a conversation with journalists about the upcoming visit of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan to Washington.
Moreover, the politician noted that he does not have such expectations because Pashinyan is there. "The person who represents our nation to the international community undermines its dignity. This is a unique and disgraceful situation that is unparalleled in the world," Ashotyan noted. The Deputy Chairman of the RPA was not surprised that the Armenian people first learn about the planned meetings from foreign media. He believes this further demonstrates that the current leadership is not the type of power that the Armenian people deserve. "The Armenian people were deprived of their own state. The mere existence of the prime minister's regime is ample evidence of this. Nikol Pashinyan represents a nation to whom he is not accountable, and in reality he surrenders our lands on their behalf, thus undermining our dignity," the politician concluded.
