Armenia`s territorial integrity, sovereignty and jurisdiction cannot  be outsourced - RA premier`s spokesperson

"It is noticeable that there is some confusion in the Armenian media  regarding the position of the Republic of Armenia on the issue of  unblocking the region's transport communications, and the media see  contradictions in the statements of Armenian officials.

This is understandable, since the topic has many nuances, which are  sometimes complicated by certain terms: rent, lease, construction  rights, outsourcing. Each of these terms, of course, can have a  different meaning depending on what exactly is being discussed>, she  wrote. "To facilitate the understanding of the issue by respected  media representatives," Baghdasaryan emphasized that the Republic of  Armenia has never discussed, is not discussing and will not discuss  such options for transport communications passing through its  territory that are incompatible with the territorial integrity,  sovereignty and jurisdiction of the Republic of Armenia.

"And vice versa, within the framework of territorial integrity,  sovereignty and jurisdiction, the Republic of Armenia not only  discusses various solutions for the operation of regional transport  communications, but is also interested in reaching an agreement on  any of them. Representatives of the Republic of Armenia, who say that  Armenia has not discussed, is not discussing and will not discuss  this issue, are definitely talking about resolutions that are  incompatible with the territorial integrity, sovereignty and  jurisdiction of the Republic of Armenia. Those representatives of the  Republic of Armenia who speak about discussions mean resolutions  adopted within the framework of the territorial integrity,  sovereignty and jurisdiction of the Republic of Armenia, the right to  construction, etc., which Prime Minister Pashinyan spoke about at a  press conference on July 16. The territorial integrity, sovereignty  and jurisdiction of the Republic of Armenia, of course, cannot be  outsourced. The management of the railway, pipelines and power lines  can be outsourced. By the way, the maintenance and management of  highways in Armenia today and has always been outsourced to private  companies. Another question is who and with what quality carries out  this management.
