


ArmInfo. During a meeting in Yerevan, Health Minister Anahit Avanesyan and Iranian Ambassador to Armenia Mehdi Sobhani agreed to strengthen cooperation between the countries in the healthcare sector by signing a memorandum between drug testing centers in the near future.
As reported by the press service of the Armenian Ministry of Health, in this regard, Avanesyan drew attention to the fact that the agreements previously reached with Iranian colleagues at international venues are already being implemented with practical steps. The Minister noted the high demand for Iranian-made drugs, as well as medical products on the Armenian market, noting the recent activity of their registration.
In turn, the Ambassador expressed his readiness to cooperate with the Armenian side in the pharmaceutical field, in the production and export of medical products, as well as in the provision of medical care and exchange of experience. Sobhani drew attention to the fact that drugs and medical devices produced in Iran in the healthcare sector provide competitive positions in different countries.
