ArmInfo. Armenia should be with the Russian Federation, historically being one of the closest countries for the Russian state. This was stated in an interview with TASS by the President of the Union of Armenians of Russia Ara Abrahamyan.
Abrahamyan added that despite the words of the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan that he has very good relations with the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, the reality is different. According to him, the relations between the two countries have worsened.
"I believe that we should be with Russia, we have no alternative today. Besides, the situation is not such that we are expected everywhere, invited, and we choose. No one invites us, we ask them. In the European Union they say: yes, of course. But why do they say so? For the same reason that today the Ukrainians are given money and weapons: to harm Russia. Pashinyan is offered the same, but he does not understand it. I am afraid that he will finally destroy the state," Abrahamyan said.
