AMD 24bln paid to pensioners under cashback program 

ArmInfo. According to the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, about 335 thousand citizens took advantage of the pension and benefit cashback program in June 2025, and the average refund amount was 4,140 drams.

Since the launch of the program, the refund amount has amounted to  about 24 billion drams, and the volume of non-cash turnover - 258  billion drams.

The Ministry reminds that citizens receiving pensions or benefits in  a non-cash manner and making transactions with payment cards and  payment acceptance devices at retail outlets and service providers  operating in the territory of the Republic of Armenia will receive a  refund in the amount of 12% of the amount of transactions made, but  not more than 6,000 drams per month.

Holders of cards of the following banks can use the program of refund  of pensions and benefits by non-cash means: JSC , CJSC  , CJSC , OJSC , CJSC ,  CJSC , CJSC , CJSC , CJSC  , OJSC , OJSC . Previously,  the program of refund of funds for non- cash transactions to  pensioners and persons receiving benefits when paying by bank card  was carried out jointly with commercial banks on equal terms (5%  commercial banks and the same amount the RA government), but since  January 1, 2024, financing is fully carried out by the RA government.
