


ArmInfo. As part of a two-day working visit to Tbilisi, Armenian Interior Minister Arpine Sargsyan met with Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze.
As reported by the press service of the Armenian Interior Ministry, the parties emphasized the importance of friendly and good-neighborly relations between Armenia and Georgia, as well as the close and effective collaboration between the law enforcement agencies of the two neighboring states. The exceptional importance of maintaining sustainable peace in the South Caucasus was emphasized. In this context, the Georgian Prime Minister positively assessed the completion of negotiations on the text of the peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan and expressed hope that the document would be signed in the near future.
Kobakhidze reaffirmed the Georgian government's willingness to continue contributing to dialogue and ensuring peace and stability in the region.
