Samvel Karapetyan promises to end Armenia`s status as a geopolitical  victim

ArmInfo.  Samvel Karapetyan, the head of the Tashir Group of Companies,  has issued a new message from the NSS dungeons, where he has been for the second month.

In a letter titled "What have Our Authorities Managed to Do?,"  distributed by Karapetyan's Defense Council, it is stated that the  current authorities have managed to lose or failed to use all the  strong negotiating positions that the Armenian side still had after  the 44-day war. "With proper negotiations from these positions, it  would have been possible to preserve Artsakh, avoid having prisoners  in Baku, maintain Armenia's significant regional weight,  and dictate  terms when signing a peace treaty. After all negotiating positions  were reduced to zero, and Artsakh was lost, they entered into  negotiations with Azerbaijan, as a result of which Baku gets  everything, and Armenia gets nothing. Agreeing to demarcation and  delimitation and ceding land without receiving nothing in return.  Refuse international mediators - France, the United States and Russia  - and declare that we will negotiate with Baku independently, so as  not to allegedly serve other people's interests, and then actually  make the primary mediator in the negotiations Azerbaijan's older  brother - Turkey," the businessman noted.

 He also added that these authorities have managed to neglect  national values and cede everything to the enemy, expecting in return  an indefinite promise of peace, a completely meaningless paper  document. "And all for the sake of elections, to deceive the people,  by claiming to have  brought peace. In Armenia, everyone wants peace,  but a real, dignified and sustainable one, and not just a formal  paper document and constant threats and humiliation. To offer some  kind of "crossroads" that would supposedly bring economic benefits to  Armenia, and turn it into the "Zangezur corridor" desired by Ankara,  and put Armenia on the path of vilayetization," the businessman  continued. According to him, these authorities talk long and  verbosely about brotherhood with Europe, brought European observers  allegedly to ensure the security of Syunik, embrace Macron once a  month, but in fact "betrayed" everyone and broke promises, and now  they are trying to hand over the "corridor" to the Americans.

 "I have successfully conducted business in different countries of  the world - France, Greece, Russia, Cyprus, the United Arab Emirates.  And I assure you - with such behavior and the reputation of a liar,  the head of a small group will soon not only completely discredit  himself, but also our Motherland in the eyes of the world. We will  remove Armenia from the status of a geopolitical victim. We will  restore the balance of interests and priorities in the region. And  then the transit routes will remain on Armenia's sovereign territory,  filling its budget with hundreds of millions of dollars a year, and  not the budget of another, even allied country. We will do it - in  our own way," Karapetyan concluded.
