Ruben Hakobyan arrested for 2 months

ArmInfo.  Ruben Hakobyan, former deputy of the National Assembly of Armenia, has been arrested for a period of 2 months. The decision was made by the court of general jurisdiction of Avan and Nork Marash  administrative district. 

In his video address posted on social networks, Samvel Hakobyan, the  son of the former deputy, has  noted that the authorities will answer  for this. "You are not eternal," Samvel Hakobyan said.  The Five  Human Rights Defenders Initiative  has  also responded to the arrest  of the oppositionist, noting in its statement that the criminal  prosecution of Ruben Hakobyan is nothing more than another  manifestation of the suppression of freedom of speech in Armenia.
