ArmInfo. Lawyer Zaruhi Postanjyan believes that the actions of Judge Arshak Matevosyan and Investigator Antonyan from the 10th Military Department of the Investigative Committee of the Shirak Region, in relation to her removal from the criminal proceedings in the case of Liana Harutyunyan, a mother of three minors, and journalist Lilit Aghekyan, were coordinated and dictated by a single center.
Postanjyan stated on her Facebook page that these actions are intended to undermine her professional activities as a lawyer. "Thus, they are openly targeting not only my clients, but also me," the lawyer is sure. In this vein, she pointed out that on the evening of July 17, investigator Antonyan, who is handling the journalist Lilit Aghekyan's case, contacted her assistant just an hour before the scheduled investigative actions. He informed her that he was planning to conduct the investigative action at 6:00p.m. and wanted to inform her of the timing. However, as Postanjyan noted, her assistant was unable to reach her to convey this information.
Postanjyan expressed her conviction that investigator Antonyan's actions indicate a deliberate attempt to deprive journalist Lilit Aghekyan of necessary defense and create conditions where her lawyer will not be physically able to be present at the investigation Referring to the second case involving her client Liana Harutyunyan, the lawyer reported Judge Arshak Matevosyan's decision to exclude her entirely from the criminal proceedings.
