Shahverdyan: Aliyev shows Berdimuhamedov  Upper Mosque of Shushi  restored by Ruben Vardanyan

ArmInfo.  President of  Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of  Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov visited the Upper Mosque of  Shushi restored by the Foundation for the Protection of Eastern  Heritage, founded by Ruben Vardanyan. Sergey Shahverdyan, Secretary  of the State Council for the Protection of Cultural Heritage in the  Occupied Territories of Artsakh, shared this information  on his  Facebook page. 

He mentioned that the opening of the mosque-museum took place on  October 14, 2019. "The mosque was restored with the support of the  government of the Republic of Artsakh according to the project by an  Iranian architectural bureau and with the participation of Iranian  specialists. Berdimuhamedov is listening attentively to the nonsense  being fed to him about the mythical restoration of the mosque, which  was destroyed by "Armenian vandals" in 202,1 by the Heydar Aliyev  Foundation," Shahverdyan wrote.
