State Duma adopts law on ratification of agreement with Armenian government regarding activities of Russian-Armenian University in Yerevan

ArmInfo. At a plenary session on July 16, the State Duma adopted a law  ratifying the agreement with the Armenian government regarding the activities of the Russian- Armenian University in Yerevan, RIA Novosti reports.

The bill proposes to ratify the agreement between the government of the Russian Federation and the government of the Republic of Armenia concerning the conditions for the operations of the Russian- Armenian University in Armenia, signed in Moscow on December 20, 2024.

The agreement  aims to enhance the pedagogical, scientific, economic and financial activities of the university. It also seeks to strengthen the university's management tools while considering the interests of its founders. Additionally, the agreement aims to bolster the positive image of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Armenia and the global humanitarian space.
