
ArmInfo. Today in Brussels, RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan met with EU Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos.
As reported by the government press service, during the meeting, Marta Kos welcomed the visit of the delegation led by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia and emphasized the importance of maintaining a consistent and effective dialogue with Armenia. She expressed satisfaction with the completion of discussions on the new Armenia-EU partnership agenda, noting that the document is set to signed at the next meeting of the EU-Armenia Partnership Council. Marta Kos reiterated the EU's strong support for Armenia's ambitious reform program and the effective implementation of democratic reforms. Nikol Pashinyan also acknowledged the productivity of his meeting with the President of the European Council and the President of the European Commission, expressing hope for further development and strengthening of close cooperation between the Republic of Armenia and the EU in various areas. The Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia emphasized the EU's support for Armenia's economic diversification, development of transport and infrastructure, expansion of small and medium-sized businesses, implementation of EU standards, etc.
They discussed the programs implemented in the country using EU financial instruments, as well as issues related to the development of economic partnership. The Government of the Republic of Armenia's programs to address the social issues of internally displaced persons from Nagorno-Karabakh were also mentioned. Prime Minister Pashinyan emphasized the importance of continued support from the international community in this regard. Marta Kos, EU Commissioner for Enlargement, noted that she plans to visit Armenia soon for a more detailed discussion.
