ArmInfo. The traditional GAIFF Co-Production Platform events will take place this year from July 14 to 18 and will feature a diverse program of projects from Armenia and several countries in the region, as stated by the co-founder of the Golden Apricot film festival, Susanna Harutyunyan, during a press conference on July 11.
She noted that international producers and specialists in film project development will attend the event to participate in pitching sessions, share professional experience and help aspiring directors present their works. A short film competition will be part of the production platform. "The Golden Apricot's important mission is to encourage film production and become a platform for young directors to make their voices heard," Harutyunyan noted.
Note that the GAIFF Co-Production Platform collaborates with the Armenian General Benevolent Union (AGBU). The event will include traditional and popular master classes and meetings at the Cinema House and the AGBU office.
