USA supports efforts to promote peace and stability in South Caucasus  - U.S.  Department of State 

ArmInfo.  The United States supports those efforts to promote peace and stability in the South Caucasus, Tammy Druce, Spokesperson for the U.S. Department of State,  said as she commented on the Armenian and Azerbaijani leaders'meeting  in Abu Dhabi, on July 10. 

"First, regarding the peace process, the United States supports those  efforts to promote peace and stability in the South Caucasus. We also  are tracking the referenced press reports in general and don't have  any additional information to share. But as you know also, I think  the Trump Administration and Secretary Rubio's approach speaks for  itself, and his remarks at the cabinet meeting is that this is an  administration working for peace.  They will do what and go wherever  they need to go. It has not waned. It is because it is the core of  the commitment to making America great again is improving, of course,  the condition of the world around us," she said. 

On July 10, the Prime Minister of Armenia and the President of  Azerbaijan held talks in Abu Dhabi, where various aspects of the  agenda for normalizing interstate relations between Armenia and  Azerbaijan were discussed. It was confirmed that bilateral talks are  the most effective format for discussing all issues related to the  normalization process, and on this basis, it was decided to continue  such a result-oriented dialogue.
