


ArmInfo. Gagik Tsarukyan, businessman and leader of the Prosperous Armenia Party, was interrogated by the Anti-Corruption Committee yesterday. The committee itself has not commented on the case in which the businessman was interrogated and his procedural status since yesterday. According to the Armenian service of Radio Liberty, Gagik Tsarukyan does not have the status of an accused, he was interrogated as a witness.
Following the example of the Anti-Corruption Committee, the office of the leader of the Prosperous Armenia Party is also silent about the interrogation of Gagik Tsarukyan. Tsarukyan's press secretary, Iveta Tonoyan, does not answer phone calls and messages. Prosperous Armenia Party member and former NA deputy Arman Abovyan assures that his party comrades do not know the content of the case in which Gagik Tsarukyan was interrogated. "Since I have no information, I cannot comment," Arman Abovyan said.
