Azerbaijan`s government plan to take control of Armenia under  humanitarian disguise being executed - Arman Tatoyan 

ArmInfo. The ultimate goal of the "game" launched by the head of the Armenian government against the Holy Armenian Apostolic Church is essentially directed against Christianity. Former Armenian Ombudsman Arman Tatoyan wrote about  this on his Facebook page.

"Yes, this situation has actually gone beyond the issues concerning individuals within the Church, it has already crossed the level of the Armenian Church exclusively. No matter how hard the leaders of the Civil Contract party and various deputies try to convince us otherwise, this is extremely clear. An analysis of the situation and public sources shows that this campaign against the Church fits into the framework of the Azerbaijani plan to seize Armenia. Therefore, the origins of the goals and real motives must be sought there," Tatoyan noted.

He noted that an obvious impression is being created that the  Armenian Apostolic Church is the last stronghold of the Armenian people, which Azerbaijan is trying to destroy at the hands of RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in order to advance its expansionist project of "Western Azerbaijan". "This project assumes not only that the territory of Armenia is "Azerbaijani", but also that "hundreds of thousands of so-called refugees" should settle in Armenia.

In fact, this is a state plan of Azerbaijan to seize Armenia under  humanitarian cover. In this context, at the very least, it is  questionable that on May 22, the head of the Caucasus Muslim Board, Allahshukur Pashazade, directly stated that "the Armenian Church poses a great threat to all countries in the region neighboring Armenia." Interestingly, this statement remained unanswered by the Prime Minister of Armenia or any government agency or official. On the contrary, immediately after this statement, starting from May 29, the Prime Minister launched a tough anti-church policy, accompanied  by a campaign of hatred and insults. In essence, this is an  anti-Christian campaign, since Christianity itself speaks of peace, tolerance and solidarity, while the actions of the Prime Minister of Armenia and some members of the Civil Contract party are clearly anti-Christian methods. Peace is the highest value for all of us, we want to live in a peaceful and safe country. But what the Prime Minister of Armenia is doing is connected with division, hostility and persecution, and peace cannot be achieved in this way. It only brings disasters, undermining our internal stability, the foundations of statehood and weakening security," the former Human Rights Defender noted.
