ArmInfo. Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan has made another attack on Catholicos of All Armenians Garegin II and the clergy of the Armenian Apostolic Church.
On his Facebook page, the Prime Minister emphasized that in addition to numerous debates, the most important thing was revealed at this time: the complete lack of connection and relationship between Ktrij Nersisyan (Catholicos of All Armenians - ed.), Vazgen Galstanyan (Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan - ed.), Gevorg Ajapakhyan (Archbishop Mikael Ajapakhyan - ed.) and some others with Jesus Christ and his teachings.
"The House of Jesus Christ, the place where the Only Begotten Son descended, is occupied by an anti- Christ, dogmatic, anti-national, anti-state group and must be liberated. I will be guided by this liberation," the head of the Armenian government wrote.
Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan and 16 other people were arrested after large-scale searches and detentions. The Investigative Committee reported that an attempt at an armed seizure of power had been prevented. Galstanyan and his associates are accused of "preparing terrorist attacks and mass riots, and attempting to seize power." Commenting on the report of the Investigative Committee, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said that law enforcement agencies "thwarted the 'criminal-oligarchic-clerical' plan to seize power in the country."
